They married on May 31, 2014, but their love began well before walking down the isle…
A couple years prior, both Staci & Mark tried the online dating scene. A popular way how present couples are now meeting. Mark already had two women stand him up, as he explained, but he wasn’t going to give up finding his dream girl. As Mark waited for Staci to arrive to their first date, he was nervous. Hopefully this girl was the real deal. Fifteen minutes past their scheduled meeting time, Mark was getting a little worried. And then the phone rang…Staci was running 15 minutes as a crazy day at work had caused her delay. A first date turned into a 4 hour extravaganza with lunch, coffee & continued through dinner. They hit it off in a heart beat.
Now residing in Milwaukee, they decided to marry in Staci’s home state… sweet Minnesota. In true form, the color scheme was purple & gray. As we say, once a Tommie, always a Tommie. You see, Staci attended the University of St. Thomas. [I also attended St. Thomas, graduating in the same year. Although we didn’t meet in college, we instantly bonded over coffee talking about her wedding plans.]
Staci & Mark have a mutual sweetness about them. Their authentic, genuine demeanors are contagious. Their day was nothing short of that authenticity. Although we had to dodge a couple thunderstorms, we managed to do it true fashion.
Much love to the both of you & cheers to the next chapter in your life!
